Marina Kolotova

Owner, Artistic Director

Education:  Marina graduated from the College of Cultural Education, Head of Amateur Choreographic Group, as well as Samara's Institute of Culture with a specialization of Ballet-Master, Head of the Choreographic Group. She earned a diploma of the highest category from the Culture and Entertainment Activities Organizer and Artistic Director of an amateur dance group. One of Marina’s ballet teacher's was a student of the great Vaganova.

 

Experience: After graduation, Marina worked as a ballerina in the Volga People’s Choir and at the Academic Kuban Choir. She also travelled to Middle East where she studied belly dance at various prominent dance schools. After Marina perfected this style of dance, she went on to be the first Russian dancer who regularly performed on the most prestigious stages of Dubai. When Marina finished her career as professional dancer she began teaching. 

Fun Fact: Marina's first language is Russian!

Anastasia Kolotova

Anastasia Kolotova

Education: Anastasia's journey began as a rhythmic gymnast. After competing for seven years, and finishing her rhythmic gymnastics career at the National Canadian Junior Level, Anastasia pursued her love of performing and dance. Training at studios such as Performing Dance Arts and Art & Soul Dance Company, Anastasia began to compete and further her dance education. Competing all over Canada and USA, Anastasia has been trained in acro, jazz, contemporary, modern, ballet, tap and hip hop. She also minored in the dance program at Western University.

 

Experience: While at Western, she competed in one of Ontario's most well-known university dance teams, HEAT dance team. She currently performs all around the GTA as a dancer in D’air Dance Collective. She is also a certified Module 1 Acrobatic Arts Instructor.


Fun Fact: Anastasia is the Communications Assistant for The National Ballet of Canada.

Hanna

Begovic

Education: Hanna began her journey in dance at the young age of 3. Since then, she has trained in a large number of styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, acro, modern and contemporary. Her love for dance intensified when she became immersed in the world of competitive dance dance, attending competitions and conventions all over North America. She completed her dance education at Art & Soul Dance Company. 

Experience: Hanna is currently in Bloom, a show produced by York Dance students. She is also a performer for the D'air Dance Collective and regularly performs all across the GTA.


Fun Fact: Hanna is Miss World Canada 2018!

Zina

Begovic

Education: Zina completed her competitive training at Art and Soul Dance Company training in ballet, acro, hip hop, tap, jazz and contemporary.

Experience: Zina has recently toured Spain preforming contemporary ballet shows with Ace Dance Theatre. She has competed at the dance awards for over 4 years working with choreographers such as Teddy Forence, Travis Wall, Akira Uchida and tWitch. She also has assisted acro classes at Northern movement as well as teachers Derek Piquette and Akira Uchida. 


Fun Fact: Zina is a student at Ryerson University studying Engineering.
